The submission deadline for papers is October 16, 2003 (the last day of the meeting). The instruction for the document formating is available at the top of this page. The document has to be an Adobe Acrobat (PDF), PowerPoint (PPT) or Word (DOC or RTF) file. See file transfer instructions below. The general appearance in the Proceedings' CD-ROM may be subject to minor changes for paging convenience.

Laboratory reports :

Each laboratory is expected to submit a lab report describing its activity during the last year. It should fit on one double-sided (A4) page with the same formating as papers.

The reports should be sent before October 1, 2003 as a Postscript (PS), Adobe Acrobat (PDF) or Word (DOC or RTF) file for inclusion in the participant folder. See file transfer instructions below. The general appearance may be subject to minor changes for paging convenience.

Additional documents :

In addition to the abstract, paper and laboratory report, lecturers have the option of submitting additional files for a total size of 4Mb for inclusion in the SNEAP 2003 Proceedings' CD-ROM . See file transfer instruction below. You can also bring them on a CDRom leave with the Committee upon instructions your arrival.

Instructions for presentations and file transfers

Overhead and video projectors will be available. A camera projector will also be available for presentations on paper, giving extra possibilities like a zoom on a particular page part (use paper in LANDSCAPE orientation instead of transparencies).

In order to avoid the usual jam of laptops around the video projector (with all the usual problems, wrong drivers, bad resolution etc...) and make things more comfortable for the speakers and the organization' staff, only one portable PC with the relevant software (MS Office, GSview, Acrobat Reader etc...) will be permanently connected to the projector.

Presentations have to be copied on a server from which the presentation will be done. You will be able to modify your files up to 15 minutes before your presentation.
An FTP server will be installed to host the presentations, which will be automatically downloaded to the video projector's PC, and updated regularly on a 15 minute basis.
When the final schedule is established (early September), your talk will appear in the program with a session number. You will be able to then upload your files (paper, slideshow, lab report, additional documents...) to a directory corresponding to your session on the FTP server ftp-sneap2003.in2p3.fr
You will be informed by email of your password in early September.

The filename format for the presentations should be :
[Author Name]_[Talk number].[extension]

During the SNEAP week, you will either be able to connect your laptop, insert your CD or USB memory or use the available PCs in order to transfer your files to the server by ftp.

The use of this system is highly recommended
